Mikey’s Room- Race Car Theme

Finally, I think I am going somewhere with decorating Mikey’s room with the Race Car Theme. I’ve been shopping, looking for things I thought I wanted in his room to get started. I bought this black and white checker material from Walmart and made him curtains. I had 4 black and white checker flags that I’ve been saving since last summer and put those up. I picked up 3 “CARS” posters and put them up as well. 
His room looks nice! Not finished but getting there. I still want to paint the walls and bring in more matching furniture. I would like a clock in his room also. I want to do 
something with his bed, but I am still not sure what. His ceiling fan looks great!
Little by little but it is coming along. I think the next big step will be painting the walls.
My husband keeps suggesting blue but gray is what comes to my mind. A soft gray, a soothing gray, an anti super active child gray. Now that sounds good to me. But this is still in the air. I love the accents of red, not too much but just enough.
