Dan II- 1st birthday Party
It has been a year since Dan II was born. He is definitely my personal gift from God. He is the sweetiest and most gentle baby there is. He turned one year old a couple of weeks ago and for the first time we had a real birthday party at our new home.
It has been about a year since we moved to our new home and a bit more since we moved from Cali. We have made friends and the kids also have made friends. We invited our new friends over for Dan’s first birthday party and had a blast.
The party theme was Little Einsteins. Dan II was able to take his morning nap before our guest starting arriving and we were able to eat, fellowship, break the pinata, have cake and have fun before his afternoon nap. Everything was just perfect
The menu included: pupusas (Salvadorean dish), Carne Asada, Salvadorean tamales, Rice, Beans, and Green Salad. The cake was a mocha flavored cake made by my Mom’s friend from church.
I was able to reserve a Moonwalk and I am so glad I did. It certainly kept the kid’s friends entertained. We had about 15 kids in the house, not counting my 3. I was also glad about the safety knobs on the doors. It kept some little ones from wondering around and getting into trouble. I never knew how good those things were.
The birthday boy got many gifts, lots of toys and clothes. Even Mikey and Genesis scored some presents themselves from family that came to visit from Houston.
My little munkin is left with cool toys, we are left with good memories and still more to come!
