I don’t know what’s up with my 2 1/2 year old! He keeps hitting my 14 month old Genesis. She wants to play with him and looks for him but most times then not, he will hit her.
I mean really hit her with closed fist any where on her body!
Does any one have any miracle advice for me out there? Please HELP?
Yes, Genesis again!
She has this weird need of picking up crumbs from the floor to eat them. Anything is more appealing to her then food. Sometimes she will be eating in her high chair and will seem like she is not hungry because she will start to throw her food on the floor. As soon as I put her down on the floor and before I clean up her mess she is right there picking up crumbs from the floor and into her mouth!
Am I the only parent who is going through this? Is this a stage?
My doctor could not give me a definite, please help!
That’s RIGHT! Imagine this; you are a stay at home Mom who is little short on cash. Your 2 1/2 year old is getting bored at home and you decide to go to the movies for the earlier Matinee to save $$$$!. You see the doors are open and there is no one selling tickets. Other Moms are walking in the Theater so you follow. There is someone directing where you go saying;
“Jonah! by Veggie Tales to the left” and “Hoodwinked to the right”. It was awesome, Mikey got to see a real cool movie for Free.
The sad part was that the theater did this for 10 weeks this summer and we found out the last week 
.
I will make sure that I keep an eye out for this event next summer. Apparently Cinemark, AMC and other local theaters in the Austin area (Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander) do this every summer and not too many parents know this.
Today Mikey woke up earlier then anyone else.
BAD NEWS!
I did not hear him in the kitchen but when I finally made it outside he got himself in trouble. Something that he was never able to do, open the refrigerator, he did. He opened the refrigerator and got my nail polish (I keep there to make sure it does not go dry) and spilled all over my coaches!
I could not believe what he had done. That same morning my husband went out and got a latch for the door. I guess is one of those things that you learn as you go when it comes to kids. This is definitely something that no one can teach or give you a heads up on.
Lesson learned!
Last night before I went to bed I did not think I was going to be able to get up when my 2 month old cried at night. I was very tried. But I did, the good thing about last night was that he only really woke up once.
That was very nice and well needed!
He is definitely easier to handle then Mikey and Genesis ever were. When he wakes up at night he just makes noises and does not scream from the top of his lungs of the bat like Genesis used to at that age. I think it is easier to handle him with the other two around then it was handling Genesis by herself or even my oldest Mikey by himself.
He is definitely the quiet one of them three.
I good activity for Preschoolers that does not cost you too much but the prize of a Happy Meal!
During this very Hot Summer, going outside to play in the middle of the day is not one of the things that I let my Preschooler do.
An alternative to that is taking him to a McDonald’s Restaurant with an indoor Play House. I buy a happy meal for him either before or after he plays, depending on what time it is, and he can spend up to 1 1/2 hours playing with other kids his age for FREE! Gets rid of some of his energy and usually is asleep by the time we get home.
As a stay at home Mom, FREE is something that sounds very good to me!
