Hawaii Is Beautiful

Monday, October 30th, 2006

I went to visit Hawaii for our Anniversary one year and wished I would have married there. Another island that I like is Maui. All the islands are beautiful. While in Maui I saw many Maui Wedings and they were breath taking. The island is beautiful during the summer. We spent most of our time by the beach. I remember I was also pregnant with Mikey. My oldest child.

I want to take my kids back to Hawaii when they get older. I think that 5 and up would be a good age to run around in the sand and swim and such.

I love Hawaii, maybe it’s because it reminds me of El Salvador. The weather was very tropical. I like it!

Dan II Is Now Turning Over!

Monday, October 30th, 2006

Dan Jr. is now turning to his side. He is so strong. He is almost 6 months old. Will be that in 11 days. He has the most wonderful smile.

I think it’s funny that he now wants to sleep face down. He does not like to sleep on his back any more. For the first week or so I would get up in the middle of the night to turn him on his back fearing that he would not breath right you know but now I know he is fine. If you think, if he is ready to turn then he is ok. 6 months is good. He now can move his body to where he needs to for comfort.

I am glad!

Politicians And There Answers To Problems

Monday, October 30th, 2006

I just saw a commercial today about a new guy that wans to be elected and he says that he has the solution for keeping our kids safe. His thing is that he wants to give child predators 25-life for the firs offense and the death penalty for the 2nd offense.

Sometimes the solution is not black or white. I am not saying that this is a bad or a good idea. It makes me think about what would a child predator do after raping and fearing the consequences of his actions. Would he kill the child and dispose of the body? What would a person that is looking to a death penalty do?

I guess that one of have to sacrifice some children to get rid of these people. With time there aren’t going to be too many of them on the streets I guess.

What is the right solution for this problem? Who knows. The only thing I can think of is doing my part as a parent and teach my child to be careful. The other is to put my kids in Gods hand and pray that he takes care of them.

Little House On The Prairie

Monday, October 30th, 2006

I love the Little House On The Prairie show. I have been watching this show since EVER! I love all the characters even the no tty ones. Right now they are showing the one where Laura meets her husband.

This is by far one of my favorite episodes. I remember watching this when I was in my teens. I would feel sorry for Laura. She tries so hard to be noticed by the teachers brother that keeps calling her little girl. What a bummer!

Have You Ever Tried To Buy Down Bedding?

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

If you want to know How To Buy Down Bedding check out these tips:

“Fill power is the term used to refer to how warm the product will keep you. The higher the fill power the warmer you’ll stay. Products with a higher fill power will also be loftier (fluffier). The fill power on a light weight comforter is typically around 600, while a heavy weight winter comforter can have a fill power of 800 or more. If you tend to get very cold at night, choose a comforter with a high fill power, but if you tend to be naturally warm, a lower fill power will probably keep you “just right” all night long.

Choosing a down product that is made with a 230 thread cambric weave cotton fabric is ideal because the fabric is soft to the touch, durable, easy to clean and won’t allow any down fill to poke through or escape.

If you plan to use your down bedding every night, choose products with baffle box or sewn through construction. These two methods create little compartments that keep down evenly distributed, even through washing!

Last but not least, remember that down products should not be dry cleaned! The best way to care for your down bedding is simply machine wash it, (king size products require an extra large washing machine) using a teaspoon of Dawn liquid dish soap. Bedding should then be tossed in the dryer on low heat to dry thoroughly, shaking between cycles to ensure even drying. Hanging your down bedding outside in the breeze is a great way to freshen it between washings. To keep your bedding cleaner longer use bedding protectors, like duvets, pillow cases and mattress protectors.”

Is this good info or what? Check it out. I did good research if you want to read more go to www.whybuydown.com

How to Spot and Avoid Mortgage Fraud

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

There are many companies out there that provide home Mortgages. Some of them also say that they are the best. I have found one online company that gives a little more information about their service than most.

I found that you can avoid mortgage fraud by spotting them while shopping.

Understanding the process of home loans and the terminology used will help you avoid fraud. If you understand the process and you find yourself needing information from a company that is not wanting to share that information, well that is a red flag.

One of my uncles in-law bought a house and was given a flexible interest when he wanted a fixed rate. The company did not disclose this to him and years later when the payment went up he was not very happy.

To avoid this type of thing, one needs to understand the process, read the contract carefully and speak up if you see something that does not make sense. Ask the company to leave the contract with you if you need more time to read. Do what you need to do for yourself.

Find out, get informed, and good luck!

My brother is here at last. His trip from California to Round Rock Texas was quick. I guess he did not make many stops. He left on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Cali. time and arrived on Wednesday at 2 pm. our time. I thought that was pretty good.

It feels nice to have him. He seems happy to be here. My parents are Mikey and Genesis were exited as well.

Mikey did not take a nap yesterday all day. He wanted to be near Julio the whole time.

I am happy things worked out great!
