Salvadorean Recipes
I have added a new category to my blog “Salvadorean Recipes” My husband thought it would be a good idea since there are not too many sites that have Salvadorean recipes.
Now, don’t think that I know how to cook; at least not Salvadorean food. My mom on the other hand is a genius. Her cooks really delicious food and she will provide the recipes for me to post.
The first is is:
Quesadilla Salvadorena (Salvadorean Cheesecake)
Ingredients: *2 cups of flour (rice) *1 cup pancake mix *1 cup olive oil *? cup water *4 eggs *1 table spoon of baking powder *1 ? lbs of Knutson sour cream *1 ? lbs of Cotija cheese *Sugar to taste
Preheat at 350 degrees
Mix all ingredients together with a beater or blender
Grease baking pans, Fill 5/8 of an inch and Bake until top is golden
*Optional= You can also add sesame seeds on top before baking to decorate.
ENJOY!
