Williamson County Insurance
My parents have the Williamson County Insurance and I took them to a mandatory meeting the other day about their program. I guess they are getting so many participants in the program that the county has to make some changes.
GOOD CHANGES.
- Before they had only one clinic they could get Primary Care from, now they have 4.
- Before they had 1 pharmacy approved under the program, now there is a whole list of pharmacies that are contracted with the County.
- Before the participants had to carry an eligibility letter with them at all times but now they actually have an insurance card with their info. and the pharmacy information.
- The new name is Wilco Care (only for Williamson County Residents)
These are all good changes and it just goes to show that we are growing. I like the fact that the county is accommodating the growth.
